Hometown and Country - Sheffield, England

Coaching Qualifications -  Curtis currently holds FA Qualifications in the UK and is studying at the University of South Wales to earn his BSc (Hons) in Football Coaching, Development and Administration. 

Coaching/Playing Experience - 
He has an extensive coaching and management background and also played both professionally and semi-professionally in the UK. He has 12 years of experience in coaching soccer at all competition levels. He has worked in schools, summer camps, travel clubs, at the Professional Academy of the Sheffield United Football Club and was also the head coach of the Men's team at The University of Sheffield.

Personal Tidbit - 
Still continues to play soccer at all levels to keep healthy and fit as well as willing to try any and all sports. His dream job was to do what he loves and to get paid for it at the same time and he is living that dream here at LASC now. Curtis worked many years towards an opportunity and will do everything he can to help any player or person reach their goals. He is a DREAMER.

Coaching/Playing Experience -
She played for LASC from the time I was in 4th grade to the time I was a senior in high school! She went on to play for Warren Township High School where she was recognized as a multisport athlete including becoming the starting point guard for the varsity basketball team as a freshman.  During her senior year she was recognized as All-Conference for her abilities on the soccer field, academics and sportsmanship. Instead of playing in college, she chose to attend her dream school to become the best teacher she could! She has been coaching at LASC for 4 years!

Personal Tidbit - 
Ellie teaches kindergarten, so working with kids is her favorite! Outside of school and soccer, She loves to read, do yoga and cycle, do jigsaw puzzles, play with her cat, and spend time with family and friends.  Her favorite color is yellow and she is obsessed with coffee!

Coaching/Playing Experience – 4 years playing Varsity at Blue Mountain HS; 4 years playing at Trinity International University- NAIA Division 1- captain Senior Year; 1 year coaching with OnGoal Soccer Organization, 1 year Head Soccer Coach at Bannockburn Middle School; 9 years as the Varsity Assistant Girls Soccer Coach at Grayslake North HS; 9 years coaching at LASC 

Personal Tidbit – Sarah has been coaching with LASC for 9 years!  She loves the game of soccer and is passionate about working with the kids, parents, and the community of LASC!

Coaching Qualifications - Head JV Coach for Boys and Girls Soccer at Zion-Benton Township High School

Coaching/Playing Experience
 - Vasily played club soccer for the Chicago Sockers for a number of years and was a 4 year varsity soccer player at Wilmot Union High School. He won multiple All-Conference awards and won Conference Player of the Year my Senior Year of high school. Also, he scored a record 71 goals total in my varsity high school career. Vasily received a scholarship to play college soccer at Trinity International University where he won All-Conference, Offensive Player of the Year, and MVP awards.

Personal Tidbit
 - Vasily currently work in sales but has a passion for soccer and Ihas followed Liverpool FC since he was a teenager. This year he had the experience of a lifetime and got to visit Liverpool and watch them play Manchester United at Anfield where Liverpool won 2-0. Soccer has been a huge part of his life and he wants to pass on my knowledge and passion for the sport on to the next generation of athletes

Coaching Qualifications -  

Coaching/Playing Experience - 
Coach Maddy is currently the graduate assistant coach/ Interim Head Coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College women’s soccer team. She played for four-years at Jacksonville State University, where she started 57 career games for the Gamecocks and played over 4,300 career minutes at the midfield/forward positions. Maddy graduated from JSU in 2019 with bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice and psychology.  Maddy has served as head coach for the Jacksonville High School varsity girls’ soccer team and the PSG U-15 and U-9 North Alabama Fusion FC Academy girls’ teams.  She was also a four-year starter on the girls’ soccer team at St. Paul Catholic Secondary School in Frankford, Ontario, Canada, where she was named the Falcons’ team MVP three straight years.

Andy Kelly

Coaching qualification - FA level 1 and working towards his FAW C license and UEFA B license through the university of South Wales.

Coaching experience
 - Andy started soccer coaching in the summer of 2012 with a local company in Dorset, England. He have been working for UK International Soccer for 2 years, working summer camps and in the spring and fall periods coaching teams in the Los Angeles area.   He played semi professional in England as well as amateur, and has been playing soccer since the age of 6. Have also represented his county at various age groups.

Personal Tidbit -  In his spare time, he likes to hang out with friends, travel and watch soccer supporting his team Everton FC. He would love to visit all 50 states in the USA!

Danielle Moritz

Hometown and Country - Buffalo, New York, USA

Coaching Qualifications

Coaching/Playing Experience
 -  Danielle Moritz begins her fifth season at Trinity in 2020, after serving one season as an assistant coach at Houghton (N.Y.) College. Prior to beginning her coaching career, Moritz played four years at Houghton, and was a member of the program's NAIA Tournament qualifying team in 2011. Moritz was also part of three straight NCCAA Tournament appearances for Houghton, including a semifinal run in 2014. Moritz helped lead the Highlanders to a 16-6-2 overall record, as Houghton claimed its first-ever NCCAA national championship, allowing just one goal over six matches throughout their NCCAA Tournament run.
During her collegiate years, Moritz gained coaching experience while serving on two international sports ministry mission trips to Brazil; the first being with the women's soccer team at Houghton, and the second as a member of the Chicago Eagles Summer Academy. In May of 2016, she traveled to Austria and Romania on a second trip with the soccer team at Houghton as the assistant coach. Since joining TIU, she's also participated in four international trips with the women's team to both Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.

Personal Tidbit (About Me) 
- Danielle grew up in Buffalo, New York roughly 25 minutes from the Buffalo Bills stadium; She has been a die-hard fan her entire life! Her favorite memories while growing up were Sundays; her family would go to church then come home and my entire extended family would come over to our house for lunch and then they would all sit around the television and watch the Bills game together!


Gary Smith

Hometown/Country - Maybole/Scotland 

Coaching Qualifications -  FA level 1 and  enrolled at university of South Wales working towards FAW C license and UEFA B license.

Coaching/Playing Experience - Gary started coaching in 2017 with Carrick colts U10 and worked with them until U12. That's when he started working for UK international soccer. He has been with the company for just over a year and a half working on summer Camps and in the spring and fall we would do coach in the San Diego area. He played boys club from the age of 4 for Carrick colts until I was 10 when he moved to Ayr United for two seasons and at this time he represented his county of south Ayrshire school district  He ended going back to Carrick colt until he was 16 and then he moved on to amateur for Carrick amateurs.

Personal Tidbit
 -  In his spare time, he likes working out as he competes in boxing now as my sport. He also loves to watch soccer. His favourite team is Glasgow Rangers FC.


Mikaela Meechan

Hometown/Country -  Southend On Sea ( Just outside of London) 
Coaching Qualifications - UEFA C , WFA & US Goalkeeping level 1, National F 

Playing/Coaching Experience
 -Mikaela played for many years starting off as a goalkeeper until U14 she then never got that next growth spurt so sheI went on to play in the 7/11 role. She has 5 years working in the United States working for AYSO 300 in Lagrange for 5 months working with their extra 2008 boys and girls teams. She then spent a year in Connecticut at South Windsor soccer club working with a variety of teams and ages in the program. While being there she helped develop a new curriculum for their new u4 and u6 program as well as developing the u8-u13 programme curriculum. Mikaela also started up a disability program. For the last 3 years, She has been working in Pittsburgh with a variety of clubs and ages as well as abilities from club soccer (hotspurs) to travel and rec.  She was also the head coach of Pine Richland middle school team for the last 2 years. 
Personal Tidbit (about you) - She is currently in her 3rd and final year of university is am studying football coach and business administration. She loves to travel and has been to 16 different countries and 26 states but mostly loves to play and watch rugby and soccer especially her team West Ham United.She is also a big cubs fan and loves to watch them, unfortunately, she is a steelers sorry bears fans!

Hometown/Country -  Chesterfield, England

Coaching Qualifications -  FA Level 2

Coaching/Playing experience - Dylan played for number of teams in his younger years, He quickly realised that coaching was the avenue for him. He started coaching at the age of 17. In the last five years he has gained a large amount of experience coaching with Chesterfield FC Community Trust. Much of the work has been in schools, delivering lunchtime and after school clubs. Alongside the coaching at the Trust, he has devoted a lot of his time to coaching children at the grassroots football clubs around my hometown of Chesterfield. Giving this time to the grassroots clubs has yielded the reward of invaluable experience, which has assisted in my development. His club based experience has given him opportunities to work with players of all ages and abilities. This experience has been with both male and female soccer players. A small majority of the players that he has coached have gone onto play with professional soccer academies. 

Personal Tidbit (about you) - Coaching has been Dylan's passion for a long time, it’s also been his job for as long as he can remember.  He is a massive hockey fan, yes they do have that in Britain. he also enjoys watching live comedy and going to concerts. He is a Christian and enjoys going to church. He likes most food, in particular Philly cheesesteaks! He has a dog back home called maggi.

Coaching/Playing experience - Four years playing at Lakes HS senior year captain, two years junior college at clc, Ran thirty day trial with Club Sport Maritimo’s reserve team out of Madeira Portugal, four summers training Saint Patricks HS soccer camp for the program, one season as an assistant on the varsity team. 

Personal Tidbit - Lucas is very passionate about futbol, so it’s rewarding for him to pass on that passion for the game to the youth in the sport.
