Coach Curtis comes to us from Sheffield, England. He has an extensive coaching and management background and also played both professionally and semi-professionally in the UK. He has 12 years of experience in coaching soccer at all competition levels. He has worked in schools, summer camps, travel clubs, at the Professional Academy of the Sheffield United Football Club and was also the head coach of the Men's team at The University of Sheffield.

Curtis currently holds FA Qualifications in the UK and is studying at the University of South Wales to earn his BSc (Hons) in Football Coaching, Development and Administration. 

Curtis is looking to deliver the best possible soccer experience to the LASC families.

Ellie was raised in Lindenhurst where she still resides. She grew up playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, iceless hockey, and ran track. She played her entire nine-year club career with LASC, where she was named captain of her LASC team the entire duration of her high school career. 

She went on to play for Warren Township High School where she was recognized as a multisport athlete including becoming the starting point guard for the varsity basketball team as a freshman.  During her senior year she was recognized as All-Conference for her abilities on the soccer field, academics and sportsmanship. Ellie is a graduate of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where she attained a degree in elementary education.

Sarah is originally from Pennsylvania where she grew up playing soccer. She attended Trinity International University, a NAIA Division 1 school, where she played soccer for four years and was the captain of the team her senior year. During college, she spent a summer coaching soccer throughout the United States with the organization, OnGoal, and gained experience coaching all ages of children.

After graduating with a degree in education and earning an IYSA-USSF “E” Soccer Coaching License, she began coaching in the surrounding area and is currently in her 6th year as the Varsity Assistant Girls’ Soccer Coach at Grayslake North High School.

She currently teaches 5th & 6th grade Physical Education/Health in Wilmette and resides in Volo, IL with her husband Adam and new puppy, Cannon! She loves the game of soccer and is passionate about working with the kids, parents, and the community of LASC! 

Ryan Kelekian

Ryan comes to us from Lakes High School and Lake Forest College.    Ryan was a stellar player for Lakes High School including 3 years varsity, Captain, Student-Athlete Leadership Team, and he continued to help Lakes on occasion during camps.    He will soon graduate from Lake Forest College and is one for the future.  

Fun Fact – Ryan continues to play in 3 different adult leagues, and on one of the teams he is a player-coach.

Jordan Middleton

Jordan comes to us from Stoke on Trent, England. He is an FA level 1 coach. Jordan has been involved in soccer, first as an amateur player and then as a coach, for 18 years. Starting at the age of 8 he played with his local team through the age of 17. Throughout his school years he played for 3 school teams. After which, he began coaching at Newcastle Town with the U12, winning the league.

In Jordan's spare time he enjoys watching his local soccer team Stoke City, who he has supported since he was 6. Jordan has an English springer spaniel called Kobe, enjoys traveling and has been to 14 different countries.

Coach Maddy is currently the graduate assistant coach/ Interim Head Coach for the Wisconsin Lutheran College women’s soccer team. She played for four-years at Jacksonville State University, where she started 57 career games for the Gamecocks and played over 4,300 career minutes at the midfield/forward positions. Maddy graduated from JSU in 2019 with bachelor’s degrees in criminal justice and psychology.

Maddy has served as head coach for the Jacksonville High School varsity girls’ soccer team and the PSG U-15 and U-9 North Alabama Fusion FC Academy girls’ teams.

She was also a four-year starter on the girls’ soccer team at St. Paul Catholic Secondary School in Frankford, Ontario, Canada, where she was named the Falcons’ team MVP three straight years.

Brett Johnson
Keeper Trainer


Brett has an extensive playing background including several professional clubs and a stellar career with Augustana University.  Johnson has three of the top 25 single-season save totals in Augustana school history. His 0.93 GAA in 2014 is the second-best single-season mark in school history and his 10 wins that year are 10th-most in a season at Augustana.    He has also competed professionally in several countries including  NPSL Chicago Mustangs, MLS Chivas USA, and Olympia FC in Hobart, Australia.
