Mission Statement

Mission Statement

The LASC mission is to provide the best possible environment for youth soccer players to reach their maximum potential. Through professional training, skill development and competitive game play, we strive to provide the finest setting for our players to succeed in their soccer progression both individually and with a team mindset. LASC believes that the game of soccer is a powerful vehicle for positively impacts our youth. Our goal is to deliver a quality soccer experience while promoting integrity, confidence, pride, teamwork, and sportsmanship both on and off the field.

Club Vision

Club Vision

We are a non-profit organization, run by volunteers and governed according to the guidelines set forth by the YSSL and IWSL. Since our founding in 1999, our directive and structure have changed as needed, responding to the changing tone of the community, shifting demographics, competing soccer options, and to changes in the game itself. The Board has had to be, and will continue to be, flexible in its approach.

One thing that has remained constant - LASC will remain dedicated to the development of good soccer players....AND even better kids!

Club Philosophy

Club Philosophy

"A SUCCESSFUL CLUB BEATS WITH ONE HEART" is our club philosophy and symbolizes everything we stand for. We believe that no one individual is more important than another.

Our goal is to build a positive learning environment for all associated with the club. We do this through our professional coaching staff and training curriculum. We aim to help develop the very best soccer players, individuals, and teammates through the technical, tactical, physical, and social components of soccer. We strive to provide players, trainers, and families with access to a pathway for a successful future on and off the soccer field.

Soccer Philosophy

Soccer Philosophy

Ball retention (possession) is the foundation of our soccer philosophy for both the individual player and the team. It is critical for the individual player and the team to understand the importance and benefits of keeping the possession of the ball. You need the ball to score and the other team cannot score without the ball.

We focus on technique, decision making, and personality of the player.
For both the team and player, we use "THE 6 P's of SOCCER"

Passing
Pressing
Patience
Possession
Penetration
Positioning
